War is as outmoded as cannibalism, chattel slavery, blood-feuds, and dueling, an insult to God and humanity...a daily crucifixion of Christ.

On April 21st, Mordechai Vanunu will have been detained in Israel 21 years - 18 of them in prison, over 11 of those in solitary confinement, and the last three in East Jerusalem, under severe restrictions as to his freedom of movement, speech and association. All for telling the world about Israel's nuclear weapons. It is that date also, these restrictions come up for renewal.
In the fortnight leading up to April 21st, we are again organising a bike ride from Faslane to the Israeli Embassy The Ride will demand that Mordechai's be set free at last, that his vision of a nuclear-free Middle East be fulfilled and an end be put to all nuclear weapons worldwide. We also strongly support, as Mordechai does, freedom and justice for the Palestinians.
This year we are travelling down the east side of the Pennines and on the 17th of April we will stay in Peterborough, on the 18th travelling on to Lakenheath where we hope to stay overnight, and on the 19th travelling on to Cambridge.
We would like people to join us on the Ride for as long or short a distance as you like, or to support us in other ways - help organise accommodation and meetings etc. at our stopping places, contact the media, send a donation towards our costs and generally look after us!
